Harmonic current has caught high recognition. Power-factor-correction is an effective method to reduce harmonic current in power grid. Integrate-Reset-Control is a kind of large signal, nonlinear control technique, which has these characteristics as follows: its circuit is very simple, the precision is quite high and the response is very rapid. Especially, its performance is not sensitive to the change of parameters. In this thesis, Integrate-Reset-Control is applied in the control of three-phase power-factor-correction successfully. These studies in the thesis have been done as follows:① It is proved that if the three-phase single-switch Boost type power-factor-correction can work in continuous-current-mode, its power factor can not reach unity. Therefore, it is not qualified for high power and high requirement application.② According to the AC side equivalent circuit of the three-phase three-switch Boost type power-factor-correction, the equations to realize unity power factor have been deduced and realized by Integrate-Reset-Control circuit. Based on the theory analysis, the simulation is studied. ③ The DQ equivalent circuit model of three-phase three-switch Boost type power-factor-correction is proposed firstly, the completely DC steady-state analysis and AC small-signal analysis are done and the DC operation points and AC transfer functions are acquired. Based on the theory discussion, the simulation is studied. ④ The Integrate-Reset-Control three-phase six-switch Boost power-factor-correction is proposed. According to the equivalent circuit in the a-b-c coordination, the control equations are deduced in detail. Some simulations and experiments are done to validate the analysis.⑤ A kind of new high efficiency three-phase power-factor-correction is proposed and realized by Integrate-Reset-Control circuit. It is proved that this kind of power-factor-correction has the features of simple control circuit, good control result and high efficiency.
