Research Of The LED Digital Multi-parameters Instrument In Motorcycle

LED digital multi-parameters instrument in motorcycle is a new digital instrument. It consists of a 4-ch A/D converter, two microprocessors, a 2-wire serial EEPROM, an optocoupler, LED displays and etc. There are two displays: an analog-display, a digital-display. All displays are under the control of the microprocessor. The digital-display not only can displays multi-parameters of motorcycle, but also can display the name of manufactory and vehicle type. According the criterion of QC/T214-1996 and actual condition, LCD and VFD display modes are give up.This paper is based on the China Jialing Industry Co., LTD. about "Digital Motorcycle" project, whose name is (The Research of the LED digital multi-parameters instrument in motorcycle). All system circuits are designed with PROTEL 99SE. The programs of system are written with assemble language. In order to resolve the problem of signal jammed, not only we used hardware (photo couplers, watchdog, special parts, etc.), but also used some arithmetic (average, wavelet, etc.). After analyzing the deficiency of the popular mechanical instrument in motorcycle, this paper focuses on researching and designing the digital instrument.The developing work of (The Research of the LED digital multi-parameters instrument in motorcycle) has been finished and is being commercializing packaged.
