Landscape architecture is about making life in some sense better. To the extend that it concerned with social matters and take account of some social goals, but it also pursues aesthetic goals. Furthermore, both traditional politics and landscape architecture are now having to work out the place of new, ecologically derived goals like sustainability.Human cannot depart from the environment of water. At the same time, human life calls for the landscape with water. As to landscape development which illustrates the relationship between Human and the key elements of water, we can divide it into: 1) Landscape planning and design that brings great influence upon the natural water cycle, and 2) Landscape planning and design that of little affection. To the former, the great influence brought to the natural water cycle has always been ignored. Consequently, enormous damage has been made to the environmental value. As a matter of fact, contradictions like this exist not only in places with pond or river, but also in places without water-pond, owing to the ubiquity of water cycle. This paper will discuss the expression and coordination of the conflicts in the three values of "natural water-pond landscape" and "non-water-pond landscape" in parts, and search for feasible implementation of coordination among the three values through combining detailed studies on more practical examples.
