Conventional DC electric propulsion system always takes up dominant station in submarine propulsion. Due to DC motor inherent limitation that machine commutation and brush results in stand-alone capability's limit low reliability, big noises, people manage to explore more quiet, high efficient and reliability, big stand-alone capability propulsion motor. These years along with the development of power-electronics technique and micro-control technique, permanent magnetic brushless DC motor is characterized by small volume, light weight, high efficiency, low noises, big stand-alone capability and reliability appeared and matured. So it is hopeful to become new generation submarine propulsion motor.This problem roots in 95'country beforehand research emphases item, that solved some key technologies for researching high power permanent brushless DC motor that is used in submarine electric propulsion as technology explore and repertory for future type research and development. According to permanent magnetic brushless DC motor's mathematics model, thesis researched high power multiphase permanent magnetic brushless DC motor's system structure, control law. propulsion system principle and same problems in project implement, it did theoretic simulation and designed control system. At last ,it drew a conclusion that summarined the design thought of submarine permanent magnetic brushless DC motor electric propulsion control system.
