According to the failure conditions during using of electric submersible pumping unit , this paper adopted three different kinds of ways to research using reliability of the electric submersible pumping , and tried its best to supply detailed and exact using reliability indexs for the user and the producer of electric submersible pumping unit so that the users could increase economy benefit making use of increased the using lifetime by improved management and operational means , arranged reasonably the period of tested pumps and the producer of unit raised the design quality of unit by improved designs on a basis of those quantitative indexs.This paper who carried out the reliability research on the unit of the different oil fields units and the different models based on the examination and research of the spot. I collected the failure data of every kind way about researching electric submersible pumping unit , and processed and eliminated unsuitable failure data for this paper , and then I acquired the statistical distribution models of the unit lifetime based the statistical theory about reliability , thus accomplished the qualitative analysis and the quantitative elevation of the unit reliability about different ways . For researching the reliability of the different oil field unit, I also elevated synthetically the good and the bad of the unit lifetime indexs of every oil field in virtue of traverse contrast to the lifetime index of the oil field unit. And for researching the reliability of the different model units , I examined the difference of lifetime of the different model units in virtue of examination about the square difference value and the average value of the lifetime failure data between the different model unit , moreover I ascertained primarily the part which was the weakest part among all parts of unit and which would affect the lifetime of unit in maximal degree by longitudinal contrast of the lifetime index of every part in the interior of a unit.About the research of the unit system reliability , according to the logical function relation of every part in the unit , I confirmed that the unit was a series of sequentially connected system . Then I confirmed the statistical model of the lifetime of every subsystem by using classical hypothesis test ways and the theory of fuzzy distinguish from identify , and set up the digital simulation model about the reliability of the electric submersible pumping system . At last by using Monte Carlo statistical simulation way , I confirmed the statistical model of the lifetime of system , acquired the reliability index of system , realized the qualitative analysis and quantitative elevation to the reliability of the electric submersible pumping system . Furthermore , the paper also opened out the relation between the period of the tested pumps and its influencing factors by compounded curves between the period of the examinational pumps and its influencing factors.
