For developing a new Visualized Line-loss Management Software, how to make fully use of the advantage of interdisciplinary technology, vivid mapping and visualization capabilities of GIS are discussed in this article.According to the characters of Distribution Network and based on the Distribution Management System, the way to chose GIS platform are studied. The establishment of Physics Model, Electrical Model and Math Model are expounded.Referring to the idea of Association Matrix in electrical network theory and combining character of Line-loss computing, the association matrix A, which is a key step to transfer Electrical Model to Math Model, is designed.The visualization of representative day (Root Mean Square Current, Average Current and Equivalence Resistance algorithms) and Allot Load According to Transform Capacity method are realized. Based on the real states of the Transform station program will automatically chose one proper algorithm.
