Character-based CAD/CAE/CAPP System Research Of Wormgear

On the basis of analyzing application situation of CAD/CAE/CAPP technology at home and abroad ,this paper brings forward the research direction ?integration and intellectualization Combining the expert system .By the analysis of the characteristic of each part of worm gear ,this paper upbuilds the characteristic model of worm gear based on the restriction and actualizes data transmission and information sharing among CAD,CAE and CAPP .This paper analyzes the general principle of parameter determination and strength check about worm gear and researches the algorithmic of strength check based on the characteristic about worm gear .This paper introduces expert knowledge into respective procedure of CAD, CAE and CAPP and actualizes the intellectualization in design process ,strength analysis and process planning .On the basis of aforementioned research ,this paper develops the CAD/CAE/CAPP integration software of gear components by means of the Active-Automation technology provided by AutoCAD and VB .The application of the software indicates this system has perfect function andproject applied cost.
