This thesis introduces the author's study, work and research, during the period of author participating in the research and development of the first 1750m3/h cutter suction dredger's dredging process training simulator in China. This project is one part of Research and Application of New Technologies and Equipment Project in the 1750m3/h Cutter Suction Dredger, which is one of the Ninth Five-Year State Key Projects and was developed by the joint efforts of Changjiang Waterway Bureau and Wuhan University of Technology. The thesis mainly focuses on the integrative monitoring, alarming and optimized dredging operation system. The data management and communications among the simulation computers are also been developed.The integrative monitoring and alarming system of the dredging process training simulator takes a "1750m3/h Cutter Suction Dredger" as a model dredger. Based on plenty of investigations and researches, the thesis developed lots of lively, vivid, visual integrative monitor and alarm interfaces with excellent interactive quality by processing graphical edit software in the integrative monitoring and alarming system. The thesis managed to make them to be an ordinal, clear and distinct system, by programming and designing as a whole, arranging and organizing systematically. According as the mathematic model near the inlet of the 1750m3/h cutter suction dredger, by researching the method of calculating the slop's specific gravity and volume concentration, the thesis adopted instant interactive mode and developed the optimized dredging operation guiding and training system, which has outstanding instructional quality. In order to insure the real-time communication among the main simulation model computer, the interface management computer, the monitor computer, dredging process training simulator adopted the integrative data manage mode to handle a mass of the real-time interactive data in the system efficiently. Client-Sever Model, TCP/IP and socket were applied to realize the data's communications among all the layers and parts in the local area network.The integrative monitoring and alarming system of the dredging process training simulator is good at simulating the same one of the model dredger, offersthe students all kinds of the general and integrative dredging data and the instant and reliable status parameters. The function of forecasting was added in the system to reduce the students' mistakes greatly in term of the training's demand. The optimized dredging operation guiding and training system makes the dredging process training simulator be better at training and teaching. It can help students whose major is dredging and dredger operators get acquainted with dredging process, so that they can get the best production under the different circumstances. Some computer technologies and simulation technologies, such as multi-thread, shared EMS memory and so on, are employed synthetically to improve the efficiency and real-time quality effectively.
