RTA52U type two stroke low speed marine diesel engine is developed from the basis of its mother model engine by applying current the lastest technology in ameliorating,advancing and strengthening method. And it is the one of the most advanced marine low speed diesel engines.This paper first brief introduces and analyses the working process of two stroke,low speed marine diese] engine,and then builts up the condition and the boundary of the calculation model,and with them to develop the program which can simulate the process of internal combustion engine. The calculation has been done with 7RTA521 type marine low speed cylinder working process in applying the simulating calculating program,and then to compare and theoretically analyse the calculating result with the actual measuring date. The purpose of the paper is to carry out the simulated working process calculation of the two stroke low speed diesel engine by applying the developed calculating program. Through the discussion of the main parameters chosen for RTA52L type marine engine in the developing process,the main components chosen and matching,manufacture and test process,and then comparing analysing and demonstrating of the test result and the simulatied calculating result,so that to find out the disciplinarian in it. And to raise the sensibility information gained from the type engine to thcretice information. After summarizing up,it shall be to bring the experiences and the results into the actual work,in order to advance the research level and manufacture qualityin the field.The paper also deal with the type RTA52L diesel engine main paramentschoosing principle,technical guideline requirements and majorstruction specility in design. And also the diesel engine testprocedure,test process and test result are introduced.After the comparing and analysing,obviously the simulatiedcalculation value is as much close as the test result. This meansthe simulated program has met the requirements of RTA521 type enginedesign and basis foundation,and also can be used as validated programfor RTA52U type diesel engine work process and design parameterschosen.To reduce the mechanistic load and thermal load of RTA52L' type marinelow speed diesel engines,the paper also discuss about thechosen,optimize and energy saving regarding compress ratio,themaximum combustion compress and other main parameters.The first RTA52U type diesel engine developing and manufacturesuccessful are marked as the marine low speed engine manufacture hasjumped a new step,it can not only accelerate the advancing of dieseltechnical leave,but also push the development of the shipbuilding.While it is getting better economy benefit,also gaining far-reachingsociety benefit.
