Changing social needs, upgrading of design standards, increased safety requirements, and deterioration result in existing reinforced concrete structures such as bridges and buildings that need to be strengthened. Externally bonding Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) and steel plate to reinforce RC structures are new methods. Since strengthened structures become multiphase, the interfacial bonding mechanism is complex. The interfacial bonding mechanism of the reinforced beams are researched theoretically by NFEM and experimentally by beams experiments. The displacement of beams, strain of steel plates, the cracks distributing on the beams and bending capability are observed, which indicates that externally bonding CFRP and steel plate is an efficient method to improve the beam bending capacity. The layer element is adopted to simulate and analyze the adhesive layer, and the truss element is taken to simulate and analyze the CFRP and steel plate. The strengthened beams' and the adhesive layer's performance are discovered.Grouping and grading the load to analyze the reinforced structure was brought forward to analyzed several T-beams by CFRP was which was a second forced structure. It is indicated that the stress concentration at the end of the CFRP can be reduce in a certain degree when there is a decrement.
