Dongpu Extra-large Bridge is a key, extra-large bridge on Guangzhou Outer Ring Expressway with the total length of 1093.5m. It is dual-direction, six-lane, single-deck bridge with the separate structure of left and right line. The foundation of the bridge is 1.5m, 2.0m bored pile, the superstructure is continuous rigid structure, piers are dual-thin wall pier, side piers are column type pier. The bridge is deep water foundation with large span. This article sums up the construction technology of beam body of Dongpu extra-large bridge, make detailed description for construction technology and results of hanging basket selecting, design, calculating, and hanging basket workmanship, beam body construction. The key points it described are the type and characteristics of structure of stayed-cable hanging basket structure, solving way of level component and the new technology of adopting vertical hanging basket beam body to solve the problems of too small dip angle of stay-cable belt which will result in too much level component. It has reference value for same kind of bridge construction.
