This thesis mainly discusses a few problems and countermeasures of the Yangtze River waterway containerized transport. It makes a study of the Yangtze River's feeder and trunk lines container freight modality and operation system, according to the engagement of the Shanghai Sinotrans Changjiang Shipping Co. Ltd; and makes a further countermeasure study of the deeper development of existed problems and Yangtze River containerized transport.The preface of the thesis put forward the contents, the aim and the train of thought of the study. It emphasizes the link between the existed problems and countermeasures.In chapter one, I've summarized the cause, trait, tendency and problems of the development of the Yangtze River containerized transport. During the several decades' development of waterway containerized transport in the Yangtze River, the deficiencies in the modality of operation, the establishment of freight rate and the standard of management have hindered its growth, mainly because the traditional form of transport in Yangtze River can't satisfy the development of containerized transport, and the containerized transport concerned enterprises in the Yangtze River haven't reformed yet.In chapter two, I've made a thorough analysis of the characteristic, competitive factors of the kinds of cargo and persons concerned. The analysis method is established on the synthetic accommodation of their respective interests. After the analysis, I've got the intension of the prime costs and interests of the Yangtze River containerized transport and found out an exact foundation of the prolongation operation and reformation of the enterprise market and strategic fixing. Especially, there are a lot of people who are engaged in the containerized transport, and they are all interestoriented. So it can't be built on the basis of the same opinions and foundations. As for an enterprise, only if it were in the light of its immediate concern, could it have an idea of its own and lead a way to the development and living space.According to the Shanghai Sinotrans Changjiang Shipping Co. Ltd in chapterthree, it mainly discusses the operation modality and some relative contents in the field of the booking of minor and main line freight space, the application of minor and main line transship article, measure and share of the second carrier's freight, document flow of transshipment and so on. The author first set up the operation model, then made experiment in this company, and operated between cooperated companies on the basis of operational application, and finally proved that this operation system has its feasibility and applicability, and it has brought various profits to enterprises concerning containerized transport in the Yangtze River.Chapter four, in accordance with the existed problems in the Yangtze waterway containerized transport market, I've found out the enterprise allocation and the profounder level countermeasures on the basis of analysis research. It is not only the allocation of the enterprise's own development space, but also the due development direction of the Yangtze River containerized transport in the near future.Through the study, the author believes in that although the waterway containerized transport in the Yangtze River has this or that kind of questions in the past, present and future, solid ice has been broken up, the channel has been swept out and there is a prosperous Yangtze waterway containerized transport market on the other shore.
