There are torsional effects in the core area of connection since beam-column joints with eccentricity. Compared with centric joints, the force-transfer avenues and mechanical behaviors are more complex. Besides moment, shear force and axial force which transferred from beam and column, torsion acts on the core region of joint. Through processing the experimental data of eight specimens connecting spread-ended beams, the effect of different forcing mode for bond behavior of between steel bars and concrete are discussed. Then the law of bond degrades under unilateralism loading and cyclic reverse loading is proposed. For the different joint connecting spread-ended beams, the torsion acting on interior joint is found. Analyzed the elastic strain of core region of joint, the influences of torsional effects upon the crack of column surface are explored. Finally, based on the theory of changeable angles in the truss, the formula for the section under the combined action of axial press, shear force and bend twisting moment is derived. Considering the effect of spread-ended beams, the formula is modified.
