Nine specimens of eccentric beam-column connections were tested under reversed cyclic loading. The major study parameters in eccentric joints are eccentricity and spread-ended beam width. The first-cracking loading and the development and distributing of crack were measured and recorded in the experiment. The influence on joint corn area of beam-column eccentricity and spread-ended beam was discussed. On the basis of this, the equation is given for cracking calculation of the eccentric beam-column joints. The test result is compared with the calculation result, and both of them are inosculating comparatively. It shows that the suggested formula can be used into the calculation of cast-in-place reinforce concrete. At the same time, through project analysis software ANSYS5.6 nine specimens were modeled, computed and disposed in three-dimension finite element analysis. And the stress distributing state of beam-column joints were computed when cracking. At last, according to the test and analysis result, the equation given for cracking calculation of the eccentric beam-column joints is modified and some suggests are proposed about improving cracking resistance of the eccentric joints.
