Tibetan Buddhism is an important school of Chinese Buddhism , which originated from the'region of Tibet .The Tibetan Buddhism has a distinctive character both in religious conception and architectural style .It had spread over Mongolia grasslands due to the rapports with the imperial government since Yuan Dynasty . Especially after Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty , along with the influence of the Gelugpa Sect of Tibetan Buddhism getting much stronger day after day , it was widespread in the Mongolia grasslands . The prevalence of building Buddhism temple reached i is peak during a short period .Wudang Zhao Lamasery , which is the object of this paper studied on , was constructed in the reign of Emperor Qi an long of Qing Dynasty in the Hth century, and it has an important value on historic study . In addition , Wudang Zhao Lamasery nowadays is one of the integral ly preserved temples of Tibetan Buddhism in Inner Mongol ia . It has highervalue of art and distinctive Tibetan Buddhist architectural style on the temple' s location, layout and style . Moreover , this temple reflected a kind of cultural complex in the national culture and religions between Tibet and Inner Mongolia .Therefore it has important.anl historical significance and cultural significance that performing a study on this Lamasery, especially on its protection and development.
