Study On Mechanism Of Treating Waste Water About DAT-IAT

This paper describes the feasibility of sewage treatment by DAT-IAT process under continuous influent and intermittent effluent. Especially we investigate the effect of different cycle on the effluent quality.The experimental results demonstrate that with the cycle from 2.7 to 8 hours, the CODcr value within 170~510mg/l ,while Ns is little than 0.66kg CODCr/kgMLSS.d ,the effluent quality always meets the need of national discharge standard II (GB8978-1996) . When Ns is little than 0.24kg CODcr/kgMLSS.d, the effluent quality can reach national discharge standard I (GB8978-1996) .DAT-IAT process has improved on the SBR, and it meets the continuity of wastewater treatment. So, We believe that DAT-IAT process has wide application prospect in wastewater treatment..
