Because of its larger starting-torque,less accessorial device and simpler handle ,there is a broad prospect using salient-pole synchronous motors with asynchronous starting in modern enterprises and factories.In this thesis,the basic operation theory of salient-pole synchronous motors is discussed(Based on the analysis of the electromagnetic relationship among stator winding,rotor winding and damper winding,the transitional process of salient-pole synchronous motors(asynchronous starting, the thesis provids a novel control method and connection of exciting winding during salient-pole synchronous motors(asynchronous starting . In this thesis , the mathematical model of transitional process is built up during salient-pole synchronous motors( asynchronous starting based on the state equations under d-q frame, simulation model about asynchronous starting using MATLAB software is set up.It proves the novel exciting winding control way through analyzing and studying the simulation curves ,and provides the best exciting in towards polarity way using "stator- electricity" during salient-pole synchronous motors(asynchronous starting through analyzing the fault of traditional way to exciting.The thesis realizes the control exciting winding method and the best exciting in towards polarity method provided in this thesis with singlechip(AT90S8535) and SCR hardware.It proves these methods are accurate and available through the control exciting winding test . Analyzing the stator current and exciting current test curves on a salient-pole synchronous motor with 2kW-4 poles, it solves the starting- difficulty of salient-pole synchronous motors,and improves motors' starting capability.The study in this thesis will provide reference in improving salient-pole synchronous motors' asynchronous starting capability and designing the control exciting winding scheme.
