Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is a kind of equipment, which can adjust the braking force automatically, avoiding the lock-up of wheels. It can provide directional stability and steer ability of vehicles and also enhance the braking safety. After illustrating the formation, type and principle of ABS, a mathematical model of HFC6700 light bus related to ABS is established, which consists of vehicle model, brake model, tire model and ABS model. The anti-lock braking processes based on logic threshold control are simulated in the environment of MATLAB/SIMULINK software. The influences on logic threshold control ABS by the factors such as road condition, initial velocity, the changing rate of braking torque, delay time, inertia and load are discussed at the same time.A mathematical model and its simulation model of fuzzy control based on wheel acceleration and deceleration logic threshold control are presented. A concept of reference velocity is introduced, and a fuzzy rule control table is established.
