Study On Issues Of Shanghai Polder Dike Project Management

According to the blueprint, coastal reclamation is the main approach of increasing the land resources of Shanghai now and in the future. In the practices of polder, there are many special problems in the project management area. With the experiences of the writer, these problems in the modes of project management, construction process organizing and quality control, etc. are dealt with in this paper.Firstly, based on the situation of reclamation project and popular polder dike construction structure in Shanghai, the problems hi management of dike project and the instancy of studying these problems are discussed.Then, the disadvantage of the current management modes of polder dike engineering project and the causes are analyzed, and several advices adaptively for the specialty of the management modes of polder dike engineering project are proposed.The primary principles of the dike construction arrangement, the closure work and the schedule-control are concluded in the paper. Particularly, the determination of the deploying amount of most commonly used mechanical equipment-dredge pump is discussed.Lstly the causes of quality problems are analized and the countermeasures.
