Grid frame structure is a type of space structure consisted of steel components and joints .It is of high rigidity and can work as a whole to resist earthquake efficiently. It's light so as to save steel material and available widely to various spans and to different shaped structures.The development of grid frame requires its construction methods to be updated and improved to need the demand of the engineering technology and economy. These common methods include high altitude assemble construction in bulk, life-on segment by segment, integral life-on, integral hoisting, integral erect etc. Some of these methods need a lot of falsework and others depend on devices for life-on or hoisting. The common disadvantage of these methods is that the proceeding of construction need large space as a result the other parts of the structure construction can't go on at the same time. The sliding construction method accumulating one by one emerges as the times require and has these advantages that it will not delay the construction of other parts in the structure because it starts after the frame and girder finished and the construction works in high altitude. This can shorten the construction proceeding. The method doesn't require heave devices for life-on and draught for light hoist device and windlass are available. At the same time the method requires none or little of falsework because there usually are flats to use and the falsework is unnecessary.But during sliding construction accumulating one by one in high altitude the stateof grid frame is different from the design state. It's easy to yield for the element of the grid frame and it's difficult to design the too-high falsework. So to have a checking computation of the element and falsework is necessary in construction project. These accidents often happen that the grid frame slips out of the track during sliding construction accumulating one by one in high altitude.The paper take the sliding construction accumulating one by one of the grid frame of Taigu airplane's maintenances system in Xiamen as a example to introduce the experiences in practice program in the three general existed problems and then take a research in the them to improve the method of sliding construction and to make it more efficiency.The author gets these results by researching the method in construction technology:(1) From the common construction method of grid frame the paper summarizes thetypes of the sliding construction, the plan of for life-on construction, the seal method of the components, the grid frame assemble, the separating of the sliding unit, assemble in high altitude, and the sliding system.(2) The paper uses two methods to analyse the falsework structure and then get the basic data to guide the construction and installation of the falsework in sliding construction. These data play an important role in practice.(3) The paper uses a kind of space grid frame design software (SFCAD 2000 for Windows) to have a checking computation of the grid frame to solve the problem that element of the grid frame yield easily in sliding construction for the purpose of insuring the quality and safety in construction.
