According to the demands of the enterprises, combining with the actuality, this dissertation has designed a hydraulic control system for inlet hatch, in order to meet the waterworks' requirements-cutting off the inlet in time when an electrical failure should occur. This system benefits the safety and well-running of waterworks. Besides, with the Simulink in Matlab, it has simulated the dynamic Characters of the system to optimize the parameters, components and system.After introducing the general situation of the hatch, the trait and research status of hydraulic control, complying with the technical request of the enterprises, this dissertation first have designed a double-hatched hydraulic control system with an accumulator as a storable energy. Secondly , based on the account of hydraulic dynamic factor (hydro-capacitance and hydro-inductance) and the analysis of each component's math model, the system's math models of three situations are established. Thirdly, the dynamic simulation tool, Simulink, is employed to build respectively the simulation model of each component, also, to mask it and combine them on the top layer. As a result, the layer-built simulation models of the whole system are built up. At last, by the means of analyzing the simulation result, the dynamic characters of the system are examined. Meanwhile, by adjusting the parameter of the model and observing the output response, the parameters of the system are optimized.
