The traditional branches' framework of the radial gate is tripod customarily, that because the integrity and spatial characteristic of the gate are ignored in the traditional technique to design the gate. In fact, it is feasible that the branches' structure is transformed to A-shaped one. In this paper, ANSYS, the software on finite element analysis, is made use of processing the static and modal analysis on the preliminary models and its' modified ones. By analyzing the results, we can conclude that the stresses on the components of the modified models are tended to equilibration and the location of the branches' brace can also influence stresses and translations on the branches. In addition, the values of the intrinsic frequencies on modified models' are larger than the ones on preliminary models, but the ranges of the frequencies on both models are almost same.
