For oil contamination being the main cause of failures and life reduce in hydraulic pressure systems, its check period long, cost high, check method bother, the data acquisition and processing depending on person much, under relative oil contamination control theories and on-line testing methods being lucubrated and analyzed, a suit of oil contamination on-line monitoring system based on Virtual Instrument(VI) was developed.The basic theory of oil contamination monitoring was investigated, including oil contamination control, filtration, oil contamination constant power measure, etc. The whole design project was confirmed, and the work theory of the system was dissertated.On basis of hardware module design, VI technology and relative function and relative criterion being lucubrated, LabVIEW operation software was designed by using of object-oriented technology. The data acquisition and processing technology being deeply investigated and adequately considering its anti-jamming design, arithmetic language was designed to realize digital filtering and mean processing, the data acquisition and processing of differential pressure, the concordant movement between step motor and electromagnet. On basis of oil contamination characteristic parameter and its international standards, demarcate experiments using criterion contamination oil were made, and contamination math model function of the system was confirmed, so the on-line test of the fact contaminated oil was gone on to validate contamination math model function. The exceed-limit alarm was designed and the contamination grade report was presented. The system has the capabilities of adaptability, agility and expansion.
