| This thesis is the basic research on energy-saving design of office building in Xi'an. Based on not only local climate characteristics and human-living environment of office building, but also on the investigation and research of operating characteristics of HVAC. The writer points out possible ideas and methods of energy-saving design.One of the limited factors in building design is climate conditions which will affect each aspects of building such as layout, exposed to the sun, the form of elevation, detailed structure, landscape, etc. What's more, climate condition is the crisis factor in building's energy-consumption control. That's the reason the writer focus on the analysis of local climate information, which will submit the reference to energy-saving design of office building, at the very beginning of the thesis.Human-living environment quality of office building will influence health and working efficiency of its user directly.
