Architecture is one of the backbone industries of the national economy. Thehydraulic pile hammer (HPH) is one of the pile-driving machineries forarchitectural applications. Compared with other kinds of pile hammers, it ischaracterized of lower environmental pollution, less vibration, lower noise, highwork quality, and larger energy transmission efficiency, which has beendeveloped and put on market in advanced industry countries due to itsadvantages. New-style hydraulic pile hammer (NSHPH) is made up of a main body ofhammer, a hydraulic power source, and a measure set.NSHPH introduce innovative technique of the single action hydrauliccylinder with double poles, and piston pole also evolves the leader of thehammer and the transferring oil tank. The transferring oil tank, the technicalcore, lowers the discharging resistance of oil cylinder, which is the main contextof this paper.The study findings of this article characterize in the innovative designscheme and the advanced technical level.1. Innovative Design Scheme(1) The double canister structure was designed and the cubage betweencanisters is employed to store nitrogen with high press, which speedsdown hammerhead.(2) The empty hammerhead with grainy metal in it can regulate impactforce of hammerhead.(3) A double-wall tanker with a transferring oil containing cubage, wasdesigned to reduce the resistance of oil drainage and also to be used asa hydraulic oil radiator2 Advanced Technical LevelThe mean total transmission efficiency (TTE) of the five foreign HPHs(Japanese vehicle, Japanese Hitachi, German Menck, American Hpsi, FinnishJunttan) is 56.9% by the same counting method. While the TTE of the NSHPHin this paper is 72.7% at maximal sticking energy, which is 16% higher than theforeign ones.The NSHPH in this paper is designed innovatively and practically. Theexperimental results show that NSHPH may be regarded as a promisingcandidate for architectural applications for its favorable excellent mechanicalperformances. The market researches show that its capability and price adapt todemand of architecture market in our country.
