After studying on the architecture creation in the early period ofChinese reformation and open to the outside, the article reviews theachievement of architecture during the time and indicates the spiritbasing upon the situation of our country is still valuable in contemporaryChina. Firstly, with some problems revealed, the article educes thenecessity of studying the architecture during the period. Secondly, thearticle reviews the course of Chinese modern architecture development,the latency of new phenomenon during early days of 1970, the backgroundof China and the outside. Thirdly, the article on the whole discussesthe characteristics of architecture from the metaphase of 1970 to themetaphase of 1980.furthermore, a table of important architecture was madeaccording to the architecture types, by which the readers can learn thearchitecture character of that time more easily. Besides, the first groupof foreign architecture is important too, which are one of the fruit ofopening to the outside, and the effect coming from them becomes theemphases of the text. Fourthly, the original creativity is analyzed,which is the focus of the article. Then the article concludes five points,which represents the characters of the architectures in that period.
