With the development of economy and sharply increasing of population, the global and regional eco-environmental problems are getting increasingly acute.Therefore, the problems demanding prompt solution are how we coordinate the contradiction between development and environmental conservation and keep sustainable development of regional economy. It's required to study on the regional eco-environmental problems, regionalize defferent ecological region and put forward a plan to harness regional eco-environment. All of above are research contents of eco-functional regionalization. So it is very important for eco-functional regionalization in regional economic development and environmental conservation.In addition, to strengthen the eco-environmental conservation, our country carried out an ecological investigation about East and Middle China in 2002, requiring respective eco-functional regionalization. Based on previous research, this thesis will establish the definition and principles of eco-functional regionalization. according to the status quo of Tianjin eco-environmental problems, through a series of basic analysis such as analysis of ecosensitivity, analysis of ecological services and assessment of urban ecotypic development, it will confirm the indicators system and technological methods of Tianjin eco-functional regionalization, and finish the regionalization. After introducing the eco-functional regions, the thesis will bring forward some protective proposes to accelebrate the regional sustainable development.This thesis is an attempt to make eco-functional regionalization base on objective analysis, trying to make some contribution to increase the scientific level and standardization of the eco-functional regionalization.
