This dissertation discusses a design idea and method of General intelligent controller based on Nine-Pointer arithmetic which is presented by Prof.Zhang Nanlun. Firstly, a control tactic and principle of intelligent controller are researched theoretically; Secondly, a general intelligent controller is designed based on this control tactic in order to implement control the constant tension of Jian Gan loom. This general intelligent controller has several advantages: its control tactic is simple, complex deduction and computation are not needed; also, the controller can adapt to different signals and realize effective control; furthermore, its hardware and software can be implemented easily.In the aspect of theoretical research: firstly, general descriptive format of controlling rule is discussed based on trait of intelligent control; secondly, principle and tactic of basic logical controller are discussed based on PanBoolea Algebra, and then control rules of basic logical controller are symbolized by using PanBoolea Algebra; at last, control idea of nine-points controller is presented based on basic logic controller, and control tactic is also analyzed based on phase-plane method.In practical applications: a general intelligent controller is designed based on control tactic of nine-points controller, and this controller succeeds in realizing the constant tension control of JianGan loom. The implementation of the controller includes hardware design and software design. Hardware design includes main controller module, input signal collection and transformation module, output signal module, communication interface module etc.. The main controller is an 8 bits Single Chip Microcomputer:AT89S52 produced by ATMEL company. An AD7705 ,a 16 bit AD chip with high performance, wide dynamic range, excellent resistance to noise and low power consumption delivered by AD company ,is used to complete AD conversion. The signal of tension is collected by tension sensor. This signal is converted by AD7705 and then sent to the single chip Microcomputer. The task of output module is toadjust the speed of servo motor. Communication interface is designed to download program and debug the program by PC. Software design adopts module designing method. Program modules includes control algorithm module, main nine-points control program module, data acquisition module, output signal module and communication interface module etc.
