This paper mainly deals with concrete applications of boiler's optimizing operation techniques used in a set of 200MW boilers. It, based on a large amount of condensed optimizing operation techniques, makes fire control experiment focusing on B&WB-670/13.7-M boiler's virtually lower operation efficiency than designed in Handan Thermal Power Plant. In detailed experiments, it introduces the ways to analyze key Economics-affecting elements, making a research into the main factors that cause the low boiler efficiency, so that improving objects of the boilers could be identified; it also introduces the ways to find the reasonable operation methods and then to find the best operation methods for the main and assistant equipments. Besides this, it makes the contrasting calculations of daily sootblowing effects on the economics of the boilers. This technique has already produced satisfactory effects on set of 200MW boilers in Handan Thermal Power Plant.
