At present, large coal-fired utility boilers are all equipped with sootblowing system. But most of them are still operating on the basis of fixed time and quantity or experience of operators. There is a great room for improvement on economy and security. In this paper, the 600MW boiler has been taken as a research object. The sootblowing optimization system is successfully developed on the basis of actual operating parameters of the unit. The main course of the study includes the following aspects:Clean factors of different definitions are used to characterize ash fouling situations on different types of heating surface; Infrared Thermometer is installed to measure ash deposit on the boiler furnace; The online monitoring model has been developed by using different calculation models for different heating surfaces; The various types of sootblowing costs and benefits are taken into account, and finally the multi-objective sootblowing optimization system is developed to improve the economy and security. |
