Hyperthermia is a new kind of method in cancer treatment. It is based on the technology of microwave . Under the radiation of microwave , the tissue is heated to 42-44 ,then the cancer cells are killed. But the healthy parts will be kept live. Hyperthermia temperature should be controlled by precise temperature measurement .At the same time, the compatibility between tissue and the materials of the measurement probe ,the feeling of sufferer should both be considered. Then the optic fiber fluorescent thermometer for hyperthermia has been introduced in this paper.Thinner fiber is used to release the pain during the treatment. But it makes more difficult to detect and process the temperature signal, because it leads to the reducing of the intensity of the light signal, and the ratio of signal to noise. So, the emphases are put on this part. First, all sources of noise are analyzed and calculated to determine the parameter of component and estimate the feasibility of the system. Second, on the one hand, low noise wideband and high gain amplifier is detailed particularly in the design of hardware, on the other hand, several mathematical methods are introduced to reduce the noise further in the design of software. Last, after comparison, a reasonable method is determined to represent the temperature from the measurement result.The detailed scheme is put up in this article, including optical path, electrical circuit, and software after debugging.In the end, a series of experiment results are presented and analyzed to prove the feasibility of the system.
