The System Of Voyage Data Recorder And Some Key Technology Research

According to the A. 861(20) proposal of the IMO and related provisions of our ministry of communications, the ships sailing on the international or coastal courses are required to install Voyage Data Recorder (VDR). So it is very important for the current technology and application to develop and produce the VDR, which can not only accord with the situation of our country, but also meet the technical capability and the functional requirements of the IMO.This paper designs the VDR system with the structure of main module of embedded computer. The system develops three applications with VC; there are the main control system, the last storage system and the review of the shipping information. AS to the main control system and the last storage system we translate data with Windows Socket network communication technology, which is based on the TCP/IP protocol. The programmed mode is Client /Server mode. Meanwhile, the main program runs each function module at the same time with the multithreading technology. For the sake of the reliability and the safety of data, we use self-encryption to accomplish the encryption of the sampling data.For the sake of accomplishing the data acquisition of many types of equipment, which are equipped with RS232YRS485/422 or NEMA-0183 protocol, we develop a Serial Bus sampling controllable card, and choose the PC/104 bus technology and CPU module as the serial communication controllable unit. We use the universal multi-path data transceiver CD4152B to accomplish the data acquisition control of the equipment with the function of multi-path serial communication.In the system, the sampling circuit is equipped with the 8051 SCM to gather the switch and simulate single, and the system straightly manipulate each register of UTRT (8250) with interrupted way to control the serial communication of the SCM sampling module. In this way we can solve the problem of hard control of the multi serial communication in Windows system.In the end of the paper, we developed an independent review system, with the figure this review system intuitively display all kinds of shipping information recorded in the VDR.This dissertation is supported financial by the tackle key project " Research on the Voyage Data Recorder (VDR)" in science and technology of Hubei Province.
