Simulation And Modeling Of A Skateboard Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle

Vehicle was created a hundred years ago, which is a modern conveyance. It brings us convenience and pollution and consumes plenty of petroleum as well. The environment problem and energy crisis have been in the way of the continous development of the human society. Fortunately, with the development of the science and technology, Electric Vehicle is proved to be a good choice and a protection method for the reservation of environment. Electric Vehicle is considered the most efficient and clean conveyance in 21 century.Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) is considered the third version of Electric Vehicle. Fuel Cell is the power source of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle, which directly translates the chemical energy into electricity, which is supplied to the motor to drive the vehicle. Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle only emits water or little contamination and has a high efficiency. Nevertheless, the acceleration, speed and traveling distance of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle remain the same of traditional vehicle. So the Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle becomes the hotspot of the development of Electric Vehicle. With the development of FCEV all over the world, the key problems of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle are the system arrangement, vehicle arrangement, driving method and so on. So the research of the capability of the vehicle, drive train structure and principle is very important.This article discusses the variety and character of the fuel cell, battery and motor. The Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (60kw) introduced in this article is developed by Dongfeng Motor Company and Wuhan University of Technology. The performance of the vehicle is simulated and studied by Advisor and PSAT. The arrangement of the skateboard and electric wheel are designed by UG. Based on the principle of vehicle and control principle of Self-adaptability, the controlling model of electric wheel is modeled.
