Through reviewing and summarizing the research results of the automobile air-conditioning system specially the automobile automatic air-conditioning system, based on the massive Chinese and foreign literature and experimental data, this article established automatic control model of the fuel cell vehicle "Start" electric air-conditioning systems, discovered the key factors which influences the automatic control of the fuel cell vehicle electric air-conditioning,how to design the air conditioning controller and the electric-compressor driver reasonably was very important, and whether the system could run economically and stably was about to directly determine the design of the electric air-conditioning whether success or failure. In the development course of the electric air-conditioning controller, utilized the advanced intelligence control method and the practical experience, this design had determined the precept of the primary function of the electric air-conditioning. To enhance the comfortableness of the electric air-conditioning, the design also had designed many compensatory functions, and had confirmed not only the accuracy of the control strategy but also the precision through the air-conditioning performance test of the entire vehicle.This project which belongs to Shanghai Fuel Cell Vehicle Powertrain Co.,Ltd and Tongji University was the actual product development. Coordinating with the peculiar running circumstance of the fuel cell vehicle, this design had developed the automatic air-conditioning system. Massive experimental studies confirmed that the design of the automatic air-conditioning system was reasonable, the performance was reliable, and the function satisfied all requirements completely. It had achieved the anticipated design goal.Moreover, the decreased-temperature performance and the comfortableness of the entire vehicle was better than the existing air-conditioning system. The design had made contributions to the comfortableness of the fuel cell vehicle. Took the fuel cell vehicle "Start" as the prototype, the automatic air-conditioning system already had been successfully applied to many kinds of vehicles,and the electric air-conditioning system designed by the author had been installed in a passel of the fuel cell vehicle "Start".
