The preface of this article briefs the selection of the topic, explores the study purport and goal, circumscriptions the study object and concepts, and introduces the study tools and point of view. The second part introduces the changes of ecology in Chongqing during the city development and the coming issues of ecology in Chongqing in building the city of mountain and water landscape. The third part emphasizes on the historical transformation of ecological corridor of Dashi Road in Chongqing. The forth part analyzes the transformation from the point of nature ,social and ecological system, balances the development of different areas in the same place, outlines the ecological analysis map, summarizes the development issues and experiences in the history of Dashi Road, analyzes the dynamic structure and new trend caused by the current environment. Based on the preceding study, the fifth part supplies ideas for the future development of Dashi Road, provides opinions on the protection of ecosphere corridor and the development of circumjacent areas: form the point of plan and management; control the utilization mode and development strength of sub areas based on each specific specialties; to create a self sustain ecological community, control the ecology of future utilized land according to the specialty of dashi road as the joint of city and countryside. Form the point of city economy, provide the concept and measures on the operation of city ecology, and coordinate the protection of ecology and the creation of economical benefits. Bring up the idea of set up the precaution mechanism and a few tentative plan for the future ecological corridor. The sixth part concludes the article and expresses worries and hopes for the tomorrow of Dashi Road.
