The contents in the thesis belong to the field of earthquake resistant design of structure in seismic engineering. Based on the research of the former scholars, with the background of nonlinear analysis and investigation on structural seismic damage, with the knowledge of capacity spectrum method, the thesis concludes a new method of aseismic analysis method considering damage to the structure during two earthquakes through the Push-over method and quasi-static test in the program of IDARC (Inelastic Damage Analysis of Reinforced Concrete) .The earthquake fortification level and the seismic performance level of structure are introduced in the thesis; In the Push-over method and quasi-static test analysis, basic concepts, development histories, the present state and their future of development; several computing methods of structure damage and judging the grade of structure damage are simply introduced. The analysis steps of capacity spectrum method are discussed. A method of transforming a multi-degree of freedom system into a single-degree of freedom system is defined. The inelastic demand spectra are established according to the new Chinese Seismic Design Code for Buildings by means of force reduction factor R and ductility factor u , thus, a simple and practical method is established for seismic damage assessment in combination with capacity spectrum method; The structure's Push-over curve of second earthquake is gained by cutting the curve of quasi-test reversal load pattern method, thus, the structure's cumulate damage level can be computed by the capacity spectrum method too; The results of an example are compared with the facts, and the validity and simplicity of this method is approved.Several important conclusions are gained by the analysis of Push-over method and quasi-static reversal load pattern to a reinforced concrete structure: Under the two earthquakes, the responses of structure are more serious than the responses under single earthquake, By the conclusion, it is not rationality that structure's earthquake damage prediction under single earthquake; The main-after earthquake action is different from fore-main earthquake action under the same earthquake magnitude combination; The Push-over analysis to the structure is convenient and utility, it also reflects the response and performance of structure under the earthquake, so the method's development future is wide. Based on the research of the former scholars, some means of structure resisting earthquake are introduced in the last part of this thesis, and the result of earthquake damage prediction for the planning area of Quanzhou city is given.
