With the recent high-speed development of Wuhan economics, as well as the unban construction, the mass's demand, both physical and cultural, is ballooning. The seismic resistance, however, has not met the demands yet. With amounts of deficiencies of the seismic resistance system, cities are more vulnerable to the seismic catastrophes. In order to enhance the seismic resistance of Wuhan city in whole and guarantee the continuable development, some relative measures must be implemented. Hence, the key to enhance the comprehensive seismic resistance of the city is to predict the earthquake, as well as its consequence doing to the buildings. Under the support of"Plan of Wuhan City's seismic resistance", the paper focuses on the frame-structure building in Wuhan, and analyzes them in different earthquake situations statistically, in order to exploit the new but simple method, which can do help to the amending of the Wuhan City's seismic resistance plan and perfect the methodology of the seismic prediction in frame structure.The study object is some frame structure in Wuhan. Firstly, the structure is analyzed over the 3-dimension FEM software,ETABS. Through the process, the predicting method has been tested, and it proved to be feasible in some appropriate situations; Secondly, I research the static nonlinear analysis, Pushover. In the way of energy spectrum method, the structure has been analyzed in Pushover. Temping to consider the performance point as the structural index under the earthquake, we can compare it with interlaminated displacement angle in relative codes, as the result, we can figure out the damage degree of the structure under the high-level earthquake, as well as parallel it to the results from the earthquake spectrum to prove the way to be feasible.Finally, given that plenty of buildings in Wuhan need the earthquake prediction, according to the obscure analogy, the paper predicts the building in group, set up the civil seismic resistance prediction system, which provide the city's building damage prediction under earthquake with the swift technical support.
