China’s national economy has been experiencing rapid growth in "12th Five-Year Plan", and people’s living standards have been greatly improved. Enterprises and residents have higher requirements to the demands of power supply reliability and power quality. The power outages and voltage fluctuation caused by short-circuit faults affect the quality of electric energy, and reduce the economic benefits. Consequently, power unit of the distribution automation system has put forward higher requirements in the power grid construction and technical transformation. Distribution automation is the integrated system through power secondary devices for remote real-time monitoring of the distribution network. It is a new research field of power technology in recent years, and reflects the strong development of modern computer and communication technology in distribution network automation.In this paper, the author presents situations and problems of domestic and foreign typical distribution automation applications were discussed and sums up the development trend of distribution automation system. Through the analysis of the status of Taizhou distribution automation and the existing problems, with following the principles of unified planning:step-by-step implementation, reasonable allocation, information sharing, the paper determines the overall goal of the Taizhou distribution automation planning. Combining the current development situation of Taizhou, a lot of deep research on distribution automation system in Taizhou power grid have been done from the aspects of structure, distribution automation, master station system, communication system and feeder automation, etc. It puts forward the plan and scheme of the construction of Taizhou distribution automation. At last, the develop direction of Taizhou distribution automation is forecasted. It will greatly improve the reliability of power supply, reduce active power loss, and enhance the level of automation and management efficiency through the correct and rational planning of distribution automation, and achieve good economic result and benefit the society. |
