With the development of high-speed railway, it is very necessary to begin the research of Integrated Dispatch System of High-speed Railway (IDSHR) because the system can help to improve the efficiency of railway transportation and ensure the security of high-speed railway. The Traction Power Supply Dispatch Automation System (TPSDAS) as an important sub-system, its performance of operation with other seven subsystems may influence IDSHR' s performance directly. So it is very important to simulate the function of TPSDAS and its operation conditions by adopting simulation technology, and implement TPSDAS' s operation, simulate the impact to the system by outer conditions, and study how to improve communication performance of the system.Firstly, author simply introduces the composition of Traction Power Supply System and its operation principles. Based on its operating features, the design method of each module in this system is discussed. Different methods of simulation are provided according to different conditions. On the basis of the principles of power distribution, backward arithmetic of voltage and current in main diagram is discussed in detail. The database structure and graphic interface management are also discussed to implement the simulation of substation.Secondly, author introduces the composition of traditional Traction Power Supply Dispatch System for electrical railway, then analyses its communication mode and network structure, and points out the existing problems of the traditional type. Subsequently, the real-time capability of Ethernet and whether it can satisfy the system's strict requirement for real-time are analyzed. By comparing the existing communication structures, Publish/Subscribe is selected as communication mode of the system. Based on this mode, this paper tries to propose a scheme to resolve these problems. Finally, according to the proposed scheme, a message-oriented-middleware based on Publish/Subscribe is implemented by adopting ActiveX technology. And a testing system composed of four computers is constructed to test this middleware. Though the test, this middleware can satisfy basic requirements of this system.
