For the rapid development of railway and electric railways application, traction power supply dispatch system become increasing important in daily life. Traction power supply system dispatch is the director of traction power supply, playing an important and irreplaceable role in running the facility of traction power supply system and handling failures. The security of traction power supply system dispatch is becoming more and more important. Safety evaluation is an important means and method to ensure the safety and reliability of the traction power supply system dispatch. The paper refer to various safety assessment and analysis methods in many aspects, such as petroleum, chemical engineering, electric power, subway, railway engineering and power supply, as well as combine with work experience of traction power supply system dispatch, thus establishing the safety assessment system of traction power supply system dispatch.The paper conclude the job nature, contents, process, and SCADA system of traction power supply, introducing 11 types of safety assessment methods from the perspectives of the definition, aims, classification, content and procedures of safety assessment methods. By analyzing 11 types of safety assessment methods and combining with the actual situation of traction power supply system dispatch, the paper choose safety checklist, fault type, impact analysis and BP neutral network as research methods of traction power supplyThe paper work out safety inspection checklist of traction power supply system dispatch, dispatcher daily checklist of traction power supply, and equipment state checklist of traction power supply system dispatch in accordance with the work practice and work features. Besides, the paper also analyze and study the impact of twelve kinds of faults on the work safety of traction power supply system dispatch, and put forward corresponding suggestion.This paper establish safety evaluation index system of traction power supply, and choose certain of it to divide the grade of safety evaluation of traction power supply. By algorithms oftrainlm, trraingdm, and traincgb in BP neutral nets, the data of personal management, personal quality, equipment factors and external environment has been analyzed and processed. Compared with error of the three training algorithm, the group with the least error is chosen as the linal result. By comparing with the actual operation of the traction power supply system, the final results are verified with the actual operation.
