The rigorous exhaust emission legislation makes high-pressure common rail fuel system come into the word. It initiates the new era of diesel engine fuel injection technology. Common rail fuel system is a high flexible fuel system, delegates the developing tendency of diesel engine fuel injection technology.Base on related literature, this paper introduces the features and advantages of the high-pressure common rail fuel injection system, and the domestic and foreign researches in detail. The components of a system and how they work are present here.In this paper, the models of the common rail fuel system are created with HYDSIM. The models are validated by test results. The main work is as follows:1.A common rail injector is used as the prototype, the affects of key construction parameters on its response characteristics is investigated and the determination of key construction parameters is also discussed aiming at the improvement of its response characteristics.2.Affects of high-pressure volume in common rail system on the amplitude of pressure-wave are studied. Principle of high-pressure volume design is also indicated here.3.The pressure-wave in the common rail is forecasted when the system matches on TBD234V6 engine. Optimizing the plunger peak phase will reduce amplitude of pressure-wave is indicated here. |
