As update product of traditional spectrometer, based on an integrated optical acousto-optic tunable filter (IAOTF) has draw common concern of people very. AOTF is the wave-divided device that apply acousto-optic diffraction principle, adopted body structure of device mostly initial stage. At the foundation of body device, We adopt integrated optics craft to make integrated optical acousto-optic tunable filter (IAOTF). Compared with the body device of AOTF, the structure of IAOTF is more compact, the volume is more cabinet, the diffraction efficiency can close to 100% , the bandwidth is narrower , and can reduce necessary RF power greatly. On this basis, we develop a kind of near infrared spectrometer based on IAOTF for the first time. It is a kind of the whole solid device without any mechanical drive and regulating organization, Compared with traditional spectrometer, this kind of spectrometer has a lot of advantages, such as: electronic tuning with a fast spectrum scan rate, easy for repeatable measurement, etc..In the paper the chapter one discuss the distribution of refraction rate and mode field in titanium spread waveguide, The principle of using beam propagate method(BPM) to calculate the distribution of mode field in titanium spread waveguide have been done carefully exhaustive exposition; The chapter two introduce the design and measurement of the core component of spectrometer in detail; The chapter three design the basic structure of single grade of integrated AOTF spectrometer, and carry on detailed analysis to various kinds of characteristics of the spectrometer, then provide tunable experiment of the real instrument and the result of spectrum measure, at last recommend the method of improving the capability of the spectrometer; The chapter four discuss the research carried on about the broadband interdigital transducer in order to increase the spectrum measures range of the spectrometer...
