Because of the difference of economical condition , medical policy and traditional idea , there exists big gap between medical building in our country and that in other developed countries .Aside from hospital standard and medical equipment , the gap mainly refers to the conception and design method of modern hospital . The hospitals now in use have many defects or even common failings . The bad condition needs to be delt with soon . High contagion rate of medical staff during the SARS period let us know the indifference between technology and human beings . Apart from modern medical technique , what we need most ? In this paper , the developing trend of modern hospital is discussed . The need of human beings takes the first place . The design is not only for the patient but also for the medical staff .
