Recent years,our country made a great progress on the economic development,not only the amount has already caught up with western countries,but also the development quality is good,too.Meanwhile,some questions need to pay a lot attention,such as the economic structure is not very reasonable,regional differentiation became larger and larger,population environment problem became serious.In the field,ageing progress has been puzzled our country for a long time.According to the relevant statistics show,by 2014,the total number of China’s elderly population aged 60 and above has reached more than 212 million,more than 15.5% of the population,already at a serious ageing state of social development.At the same time,our country is the country with the largest number of elderly people in the world.Some numerous other indicators factors are also in a bad state,China’s total fertility rate from 5.81% in 1950 to crazy dropped to 1.44% in 2010.The birth rate in 2010,down 3%,compared with 1990,fell 10%;The number of 0 to 14 years old adolescent population proportion of social population in China is only 16.6%,sixth from bottom in the world,is in a state of severe decreases.Since the ancient times,our country has the tradition of respect others,and nowadays,life level and medical level has improved a lot,lifetime becomes longer and longer.It results in the amount of old people is booming,a lot of problems has been merged.Based on these condition,lots of research have been carried out.The theory of identity of space is a very important theory in construction field,it refers to the living’s cognizance and perception on the constructions.Environment psychology study aimed at personal characteristic and change of environment.Old man’s mental and physical trait is very different from young man,and some need is different,too.The essay tried to combine the theory of identity and the theory of environment psychology together,used document-data method,field research method and summarizing method to analysis old man’s mental and physical trait,including lack of safety and existence,lonely,sad and past-recollection,and weak of perception skill and nervous system,change of musculoskeletal,gave some advice on how to build elderly community.
