Quick construction (QC) is a new construction method used widely in current construction industry, which is based on advanced management and it can enhance construction quality and reduce the construction term.In this dissertation, the conception of quick construction is described in detail, and some study and analysis based on system analysis is presented here. These study and analysis is classified as follows:1) As a system, hydraulic and hydropower construction is a dynamic process, which has many kinds of factors that affect the construction process largely including construction quality, safety, investment, construction organization, space conflict, risk management, information management. Certain analysis of these factors and their relations is made in this paper. From the analysis, we can conclude that quick construction is realized just by accelerating the operation of construction.2) To space conflict problem in quick construction system, this paper uses a chapter to emphasize on its affect on quick construction and relation between all kinds of space (work space, equipment space, hazard space and protected space) and a new conception virtual space is presented here, then a solution and an analysis model is provided to a simple space conflict problem which occurred in a hydraulic and hydropower construction workplace.3) The effect of construction risk on quick construction is analyzed and construction risk is classified. Then the methods of risk analysis and countermeasures are researched.4) The method to manage the information is put forward. The structure of information management system is analyzed and information management mode of quick construction is constructed.5) The principle to constitute the reasonable schedule in quick construction is presented and the application of concurrent construction in water resources and hydropower engineering is researched.6) The case study shows the status quo and the open question of quick construction management. The corresponding solution and research in the future is discussed.
