Hydropower projects generally have a long construction period,huge investment,many construction links and complex technology.Influenced by many objective factors,such as nature,politics,economy,society and technology,there are greater risks.In order to better control and respond to the risk,we need to identify and analyze the risk of hydropower projects,which is conducive to the social and economic benefits of hydropower projects.This paper reviews the basic theory of hydropower project risk management,including project risk and characteristics,project identification,analysis and response methods and processes.In risk identification,work breakdown method and expert investigation method are used to identify risks,obtain risk list and classify risk types.In risk analysis,the probability of risk occurrence is analyzed by expert investigation method,and then the importance weight of engineering risk is calculated by AHP Finally,according to the established risk comprehensive weight model,the comprehensive weights of all risk factors are calculated,and the risks are classified in order,from high to low,which are technology,management,society,resources and natural risks.On the basis of this conclusion,combined with the actual situation of risk management of W hydropower project,this paper puts forward the full-scale risk control,and puts forward the full-scale risk monitoring measures for the technical and management risks with the highest level,and finally puts forward the analysis method of checking the effect of risk measures.In this paper,according to the actual situation of W hydropower project,there are still some deficiencies due to the subjectivity of experts.
