In recent years, with the development of computer technology, the application of computer in internal-combustion engine design and testing make part of the design work gradually separate from the stage of experience design, which provides a quick and accurate calculation mean for us.The work circulation of a diesel engine is a very complicate physical and chemical process, the purpose of the thermal calculation in the work process is to truly reflect the physical and chemical process of a diesel engine cylinder inner circulation and find out the quantity relation between the various factors and performance indexes so as to select the optimized parameters.This text with the computer program to simulate a diesel engine work process, and find out the laws of parameters with the time changing in order to understand the relation between diesel engine performance and system parameters, by an example of CY4102BZLQ diesel engine, from the actual application of the performance improvement, comparing with the classical thermal calculation, the way of computer calculation for a diesel engine work circulation is much quicker, more accurate, in conformity with the actual conditions, especially for its important wide application, which can undertake the work that the classical calculation can not do. Hence in the course of researching and improving a diesel engine, the computer application for the analogue calculation of a diesel engine work process can examine the vast tentative plans, confirm the optimized plans and parameters for test, therefore the commissioning time is greatly shortened and the amount of test work is reduced as well.
