The Analyse And Desogn Of The Long-Span Beam String Structure

The Beam String Structure is a new type space-structure raised in these years. It is a type of external prestress which connects the member in compression and flexure (beam, arch, truss) with the stretched member (string) by several struts, in the meantime, stresses the prestress to the string to make the structure produce a inverted displacement, and after the loads of roof appears, the structure will be renewed to its original shape. In the early 1990s, this space structure has been gradually researched in our country. And amount of research production and outstanding samples have been brought out, such as Shanghai Pudong International Airport Terminal and Guangzhou Exhibition Center, I write this paper in order to understand the structure deeply and to do the design more successfully. First, it selects a suitable roof structural form----Beam String Structure through analysis each structural condition and conceptual ideas of a gymnasium roof system, using working experience and theoretic research to confirm every calculation parameter, and simplifies it to a reasonable calculation model. Second, it uses program such as Algor SAP to calculate and analyze static load,wind load,horizontal and vertical seismic action for this calculate model, finds calculation difference as well as applicable term under condition of linearity and geometric nonlinear, then chooses a logical solution in order to work out design data such as the size of truss element,the value of prestress. Finally, it studies and analyzes the stability of Beam String Structure in order to get a reasonable designation, and moreover probes into the suggestion for such kind of cases.
