Lubrication System Contamination Control In Turbomachine

By investigating origin and development of the lubrication system contamination control, the contamination damage characteristics, formed in turbomachine lubrication system, has been studied.Researching into the structure characteristics and working forms of bearing and sealing , used in turomachine , the main harmful forms of contamination in these lubricating systems have been brought out, the superfine particle contamination, the water contamination and degradation contamination.A laboratory tests were performed to simulate oxidation of oil working in high temperature, to research the relations of oil degradation and oxidation, it is shown shat the suorness and colorless is increasing with superfine colloidal particle contamination formed in oil. The high gradient magnetic separation equipment and application for oil purification are analyzed systematically, and some tests are carried in laboratory. Based on these theoretical analysis and experiments, a new structure of purificator has been designed for turomachine lubrication systems specially, and will be tested in lubricating systems of industry turomachine.
