On the basis of comprehensive study and acquaintance with research on gasoline volatilization and its emission control, this paper does research on gasoline volatilization from a key factor vibration, and makes suggestion about the control of gasoline emission.Automobile vibration has something to do with many factors, but road unevenness is the main one. In this paper the vibration results from road unevenness was simulated and analyzed. First a road model was made to analyze the road unevenness, which divide the road into five grades: A (best), B (good), C (common), D (bad) and E (worst). Then we use MATLAB/SIMULINK to emulate the road model, and get the emulation charts of those five kinds of road. At the same time, establish a physical model for car vibration, and give the emulation results as stimulation source, analyzes the vibration of the body of a automobile that results from various grades of road.In order to study what's the relationship between gasoline volatilization and vibration, we have designed and manufactured the vibration test equipment specially, and then carried out experiments on the vibration of the oil box that was filled with some gasoline, the intensity of vibration was described by itslrequency and amplitude~as the gasoline would volatile because of vibration and steam would be gathered in the sealed oil tank, the intensity of volatilization of gasoline was described by the vapor pressure in . the oil box. After analyzing of the experimental data, a mathematical model was made, that is:. And P-Gasoline vapor pressure co-Vibration frequency A-Vibration amplitudeFinally, according to the mathematical model above and emulation result of car vibration to study the relationship between gasoline volatilization and vibration, we get a theoretic prediction about volatilization of gasoline in a sealed oil tank. From the theoretic prediction, we know that when an automobile was driving on road, if the grade of the road is more lower, that is to say the road unevenness is worse, the vibration of vehicles will be more intense, and the volatilization of gasoline in its tank will be more striking. And from above this paper draws another conclusion that in the research of the control of gasoline emission, on the one hand emission control system should be considered, on the other hand road quality should be improved to reduce the vibration of gasoline tanks so that to reduce the gasoline emission discharge.
